abc wins EPSRC grant

The AspectBench Compiler (abc) team has won a grant from EPSRC to the value of 363,896 pounds to investigate the design and implementation of aspect-oriented programming languages.

The Aspect Bench Compiler for AspectJ is a workbench for research into aspect-oriented programming languages. The new EPSRC grant will provide four research studentships. Three of these have already been awarded, and one remains vacant. The three recipients are:

  • Pavel Avgustinov (Magdalen)
  • Elnar Hajiyev (St. Anne's)
  • Julian Tibble (Worcester)
