Mathieu Verbaere

I am no longer a member of the Programming Tools Group. My main research work there was the design of languages and frameworks for easily and correctly implementing refactoring transformations.

I obtained my PhD from the Oxford University Computing Laboratory in 2008. My PhD work was on a scripting language for refactoring, and was sponsored by Microsoft Research through its European PhD Scholarship Programme.

You can contact me about my work at mathieu.verbaere@wolfson.oxon.org.

Past projects:

  • Aspect Refactoring Tools: ART
  • A scripting language for refactoring: JunGL
  • Source code querying with Datalog: CodeQuest
  • Refactoring via slicing: Nate
