Oege de Moor's teaching
Graduate
I supervise the work of all students in the Programming Tools Group . If you would like to apply to become a PhD student in the group, first study some of our papers. Next, write to me explaining what you found interesting and why, with a detailed proposal of what you might do yourself. I will not discuss funding until we have decided on the academic merits of your application, and agreed a likely topic.
Generally I can only take on two or three MSc project students each year. Projects are always related to ongoing research, and usually co-supervised by one of my PhD students. Again, please read up on what we do prior to contacting me. I am usually full-up by mid-February, so contact me early if you think you might want to do an MSc project in the PTG.
Undergraduate projects
Undergraduate projects: these are always related to existing research activities in the group, so it pays to carefully browse our research group pages to decide on an area of interest. For truly outstanding students, there is the option of summer internships to work on a project over summer. I always aim for students to present the results of their project at an international conference.

Normally I tutor 6 hours a week for Magdalen College and Worcester College. All my tutorial teaching is done on Mondays.
Lecture courses
I am on sabbatical leave until January 2007. In 2007, I shall be lecturing:
