The Overseas Research Student (ORS) Awards scheme is funded by the British government, and it covers the difference between home fees and the (much higher) fees at overseas rate. Awards are made on the basis of academic excellence and competition for awards is very severe.

Elnar Hajiyev works on logic pointcuts and code queries.

Neil Ongkingco works on modularity in aspect-oriented programming.

Both Elnar and Neil hold research studentships funded by EPSRC.
